Hi all
Have been away for the weekend...I go away for 5 minutes!!!!....ha ha.
Well we saw this coming
And that's the point really...as I said in my original message most of the SKY golf coverage is excellent especially on the ET.
Mind you........don't forget that I don't believe (and i am sure someone can put me right here if what I say next is wrong) that SKY don't produce anything apart from...
I actually don't think that is a fair comment Steve for these reasons.....
You can castigate the BEEB for not doing more TV golf coverage or trying to negotiate more coverage (perhaps they have...perhaps they haven't) but what they do on the OPEN is IMO, fantastic...this is from memory

Very good post.....some interesting points. Have to go to work now so will look back later...its such a shame...there is more golf on the telly now than ever but only in the main people that are already interested in it watch.
I know its twee but the Peter Alliss pro celebrity's from Gleneagles...

Slightly odd comparison but these numbers are from SPORT ENGLAND....Of course Cycling has been on "accessible" television more in the past few years, and it doesn't take so long to do....My friend says to his wife he will be back in two hours or so to...

Hi Everyone
Some great comments again on here and thank you for taking the time.
I will have a good look later when home from work and give some thoughts.
A
So you all totally understand where i am coming from here......
I totally agree that you need deadlines and keep to them.
The fact we were playing on the last possible day is neither here nor there. It was an available day to play.
I also believe that where things go wrong efforts should be...
Good point rose but i said to the MoS that if the draw HAD to be made what ever team that won would wave being at home so at least the next round club would know they were at home and had the wipp hand in sorting the date.
With the bad weather now either the whole draw could have been put back...
Good point Homer and the answer there is just one week. You cant KEEP going on of course and this is my main point.
The bad weather could still be here of course and then a decision would have to be done, BUT the clubs could have decided a winner then and not someone sitting in an office...
