I would be interested in what club you are considering? It's been a fair few years since I've played at Ravensmeddow but it does offer very good value for money. There aren't many places you can join for less than £1000. I'm at Halesowen GC but that is still over £900 for up 36.

I'm looking for something similar. Currently have a new to me G425 driver and 3 hybrid and want something to fit in between. Not sure whether to go 3 or 5 wood, really need to try both and see how far they go.

Sounds like I’ve messed up today. On 2 or 3 occasions I picked up as soon as I knew I had a minus. Seems I should have putted out as this would have a negative effect for handicap purposes.

Yes I do this, more so when taking an iron off the tee. I find it helps me to visualise the angle I want to attack the ball.
